DMCA Takedown Process
This page explains how we handle copyright takedown requests at SlavicSins (slavicsins.com) under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
- What We Do: SlavicSins shows listings and embeds videos hosted on other sites. When we remove a listing here, it only disappears from slavicsins.com. The actual video file stays on the host site, which has its own removal procedures.
- Sending a Notice: To report a copyright issue, please contact our Copyright Agent using the contact form at contact page.
- What Your Notice Should Include:
- The URL(s) of the listing(s) in question
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- Your contact information
- A statement made in good faith that the use is unauthorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your signature (electronic or physical)
- How We Handle Notices: We process complete notices within a few business days. If your notice is missing information, we’ll let you know what’s needed to proceed. We accept counter-notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). If a source repeatedly causes valid takedown notices, we remove it from our index.
